Rivertown Rose Campgrounds — Proud Mary

This place is really lovely. I felt really at home and comfortable here. We got here on a Saturday and Sunday I took everything out of the trailer and washed the floors really well. We sat outside a couple of times and had dinner. There weather here is perfect and there are not really any bugs. By the time we left, I realized that ants on our outside gear were a problem for this location. Our outside totes have had ant issues in the past. When we were in Jacksonville, I had to remove the lids and remove ants and ant eggs from the inside of the handle in two different totes. We discussed getting more weatherproof and airtight totes that are also bug proof but since we just replaced all of our totes with the Home Depot totes in Gainesville, we did not want to make this change yet. However, for future reference, we will replace these totes with weatherproof totes as we go. We do have a few Home Depot weatherproof totes but they have ended up inside the trailer with the exception of one tote.

This location really worked well for us. They have a pool and the weather was cool enough for Poe to sit outside with us. The park was big but we did not feel right on top of our neighbors. We were also close to the office and really close to the bathrooms and showers.
